Awakening to the pitta patter of rain on the roof it was out with the rain jacket before heading onto the streets. My rough plan for the day was to walk, eat and walk some more, hopefully taking in some of the bay area. For lunch it was sourdough at the Boudin bakery on the wharf. It’s the home of San Francisco Sourdough and a wonderfully warm place to sit when your pants are wet through. Rounding the corner below Fort Mason the Golden Gate bridge loomed up on the horizon presenting the best view of the day.
