Awakening to the sound of dynamite on the first day at Snowbird, we found ourselves limited to within the confines of the building. Seems the foot of snow that had fallen overnight was presenting an avalanche danger. Ski patrol went about blowing up anything dangerous and by eleven we were out skiing.
Two days later and ski patrol is still blowing cornices off.
